Aviation Museum

The New Hampshire Aviation Museum welcomes everyone with an interest in learning more about New Hampshire's exciting aviation history. The Aviation Museum is New Hampshire's only working museum devoted to aviation history in the Granite State.

What Will I See?

Museum exhibits cover persons, places, events and artifacts related to the aviation history of New Hampshire. The information presented about the pioneering men and women who have represented New Hampshire in the air will take you back in time and might even change the way you think about New Hampshire, especially the contributions our State has made to the aviation history of America and the world.

There are no full size aircraft on exhibit at this time.

Museum Programs

The Museum presents live programs covering aeronautical history and aviation related science. Click here to view a calendar of the events currently planned.

Outreach Program

 The Museum offers an Outreach program, open to all ages, children through adult. Read more about School Outreach here.

Facilities and Special Events

The museum can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 50 people for tours and programs. Dining facilities are not generally available for group visits, although catering may be arranged with prior planning. "Flying for Uncle Sam: Concord, N.H., Aviators in the Great War" presentation - Saturday, December 10, 2016

Join us at 11:00 a.m. for a Second Saturday@Museum Series presentation.  Entering the First World War woefully underprepared to fight in an air war, the United States rapidly expanded its Air Service to meet the challenge. Men from the small city of Concord, N.H., played a surprisingly prominent role flying for Uncle Sam in the Great War. This talk will tell their story. Presented by Byron O. Champlin. The museum will close at 1pm following this event for our annual volunteer appreciation luncheon.


Story Time with Santa Claus - Saturday, December 17, 2016

Join us for a special visit from Santa Claus! Santa will read a story and visit with each child at 11:00 a.m. A craft in the classroom will follow. Don't forget your camera for this fun holiday event! Regular museum admission applies. Members receive free admission. Please note that Santa arrives at promptly 11am, and leaves for another engagment following the story and photos. Please consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy to this event for Recycled Percussion Foundation's toy drive.


Remembering Bob Hoover - Thursday, January 12, 2017

Please join us at the Aviation Museum of NH to remember and celebrate the life of Bob Hoover, perhaps the most beloved and certainly THE BEST aviator who has ever lived. The remembrance will be held on Thursday January 12, 2017 at 6 pm. Free admission. There will be a cash bar reception.
