Society Gala and Museum Open House – 2011

The Fall Events 2011 began with the Annual Gala and Auction on Friday, September 16 at the Highlander Conference Center.  For the second year the Auction included both a silent and a live auction with a wide variety of items – from aerobatic rides to jewelry to Southwest Airlines tickets with all proceeds benefitting the NHAHS.

Fall events continued with the Museum Open House Saturday, September 24th. featuring free admission, Segway demos, a competition sailplane static display, and special exhibits.

Museum Executive Director Jack Ferns hosted an L&M Tours group of 50 visitors from New York.  Jack gave a talk to the group about the beginnings of the New Hampshire Aviation Historical Society and the educational plans of the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire.
