FLYING THE IDAHO BACK COUNTRY FEBRUARY 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM NHAHS member Bob Hough experienced the trip of a lifetime while flying with his nephew in the Idaho Mountains this past spring. As part of the Second Saturday@Museum program, Bob will present pictures and video that will put you in the cockpit while flying into some of the most remote and challenging airstrips in the country. As Bob describes: "It was an aviation experience like none other in some of the most beautiful and rugged terrain this country has to offer." Bob rode in his nephew’s 260HP Maule on Alaskan Bushwheels™. Don’t miss this opportunity to see flying as few ever get to experience: one way in & one way out airstrips with 18-22% grades. The flying was exhilarating and the scenery stunning! Join us for these interesting and informative sessions. The “Second Saturday@Museum” programs are included as part of your admission fee (members are free) and are held in the Vincent Devino Classroom from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. The Aviation Museum of New Hampshire is located at 27 Navigator Road, Londonderry, NH 03053. Call for additional information: 603-669-4820. |
