Fund-raising Gala a Success!

Thanks to all who attended our 19th Annual Fund-Raising Gala.

Held on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Southern N.H. University, our event theme was "Building the Future."

Special guest via Zoom Video Conferencing was Richard VanGrunsven, designer of the RV-12iS aircraft now being built by students at the Manchester (N.H.) School of Technology in partnership with the Aviation Museum.

Also in attendance were many of the students building the plane as well as MTS faculty and administration.

This year's gala was highlighted by a presentation of the museum's prestigious "Granny" Award to Robert Hough, long-time board member who is currently serving as immediate past president.

Also, long-time docent Paul Scarlett was presented with a "Master Volunteer" award for his many years of service to the museum.

A record number of 190 attendees were greeted at the entrance of the university's banquet hall by a fully assembled RV-12 aircraft.

We'll have a full report on this year's gala in the next edition of the museum's Aeronaut publication.
